Pair Of Etruscan-style Cassolettes, 19th Century
A lovely pair of Athenian-style cassolettes, made of white Carrara marble and gilded bronze, decorated with pinecones, foliage, a frieze of ovals, women’s heads draped in the Etruscan style, chains, and tassels, acanthus leaves, and three claw feet, joined on a circular base adorned with a beaded frieze and supported by three small feet (signs of wear).
