A beautifully proportioned obelisk in antique yellow marble resting on a parallelepiped base alternating with molded inserts on a black marble counterbase. Rome, 19th century, Grand Tour period. A small chip at the tip and old restoration, visible in the photo on the upper part. It also has two chips: one on the first muolding below the shaft and one on the black counterbase; see photo.
