The gilding enhances the natural beauty of this burl.

The other two sections are lacquered in Lapis Lazuli blue, dustedwith gold, and feature two eyes made of sulfide.

Signed with a wax seal.

The gilding technique with gold leaves is patented, for an irregular surface with micro-cracks and it is included in his catalog raisonné.

Condition: Gallery condition, glossy black resin base.
