Modeste T'Sjoen, 1891–1980, a Belgian sculptor and metal artist born in Hombeek. He was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague during World War I, where he began his career as a painter and draftsman. Upon his return to Belgium, he furthered his studies at the Academy of Ghent, where he chose to focus on sculpture. He set up his studio in Hombeek and exhibited at the Ghent Salon. The artist is listed in the Piron (Dictionary of Belgian Painters). Listed on Artprice, Artnet, etc...
