A beautiful, lidded candy dish made of pâte de verre, signed by Almaric Walter, a French master glassmaker renowned for his early 20th-century Art Nouveau creations.
It features a floral relief design in shades of amber, green, and pink, with side handles shaped like tree branches, typical of the naturalistic style of the era.
Condition: The base was broken in two and then carefully re-glued; there is a small chip on the inside of the side (previous restoration, visible upon close inspection). The lid is in good condition. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they are an integral part of the description.
