A very beautiful polychrome earthenware wall clock by Marion de Crécy, daughter of Mithé Espelt.
This clock is listed among the works of this artist, who successfully reinterpreted her mother’s style and craftsmanship, perhaps adding a touch of originality and whimsy. 
In excellent original condition with no chips and a beautiful period patina. The original battery-powered mechanism is in very good working order.
Note the richness of the decoration, featuring beautiful grape clusters and leaves accented with fine gold details. 
A rare piece for both collecting and display.
Note the label on the back indicating the original place of sale, Sant Vicens in Perpignan, where Marion de Crécy and Mithé Espelt had pieces for sale in the postwar years.
