Set Of Three Limoges (xx Eme)j. Bétourné Studio – Hand-painted Landscapes

A beautiful set consisting of three enamel paintings on copper, entirely handcrafted by Master Enameler J. Bétourné in Limoges.

This set brings together three different landscapes, all executed with great finesse:

• “La Route de Sèvres,” the original title inscribed on the handwritten label on the reverse, depicting a horseman and a woman out for a walk on a country path.
• A peaceful pond lined with birch trees, featuring stunning reflections and autumnal colors.
• A forest path, bathed in light, highlighting majestic birch trees and delicately rendered vegetation.

Each enamel piece is signed “J. Bétourné – Limoges” and presented in its original frame. The backs retain the original labels from the workshop of J. Bétourné, Master Enameler in Limoges. One of them also bears the label of the “À la Côte d’Argent” store, located at 6 Place Charles-de-Gaulle in Mont-de-Marsan, as well as its handwritten title from that era, providing particularly interesting provenance information.

The set is in excellent condition, ideal for refined decor or to complement a collection of Limoges enamels from the second half of the 20th century.
