A vase shaped like a seated anthropomorphic figure, with the head thrown back and the mouth wide open, forming the opening of the vessel.
The figure is in a ritual pose evoking shamanic ecstasy.
In pre-Columbian art, this posture very often symbolizes a shaman in a trance or state of ritual ecstasy, communicating with the spirit world. The mouth open toward the sky may evoke incantation, sacred song, or the ingestion of ritual substances.

The presence of perforations indicates that the object was worn as a pendant serving as an amulet or a portable offering vessel.
The arms and legs: We can now clearly distinguish the stylized arms in relief rising toward the upper body (the hands appear to be resting near the face or on the shoulders) and the legs folded on either side in a seated, almost fetal posture.

Terracotta sculpture with a red patina, covered in places with a dark (black/brown) engobe that has undergone erosion due to age and burial (small earthy concretions and surface wear are quite typical).
