Bronze statuette depicting a crouching ibis wearing the Atef crown, identifying it as Thoth, god of the moon, magic, wisdom, and the sciences.
The long, slightly parted beak is gently curved; the circular eyes likely once held inlays of a different material, which are now missing.
The legs are folded, with talons featuring finely detailed claws. The S-shaped neck flows into an elegantly curved body whose plumage has been cold-engraved.
