The salon painting "After the Bath" was created in 1925 by the famous Czech painter Bohumil Marecek, born in 1884 in Prague. From 1902 to 1906, he studied at the Prague Academy under V. Hynais and Zenisek and undertook study trips to Munich and Rome. He was a frequent exhibitor in Prague in 1908, 1909, and 1931.
