19th-century "troubadour" Bronze Photo Frame With A Turquoise Enamel Beaded Border
Like a coat of arms skillfully folded at the edges, giving it a bit of depth and an added decorative effect. It features an oval-shaped design surrounded by turquoise enamel “pearls,” with several floral motifs chiseled into the bronze around it. Dating from the late 19th century, it is in the “Troubadour” style and includes its protective glass; among the mounting tabs on the back, one is missing, though this does not prevent the photo from being mounted.
