Antique Georgian Bristol Blue Sky Ring
A ring from the rare and charming Georgian era. This is what is known as a “celestial” ring. The deep cobalt blue of the original Bristol glass symbolizes the night sky, against which a floral motif and a sparkling border of antique paste stones are set.
The ring captivates with its masterful combination of materials typical of the period: the front is made of silver to enhance the stones’ brilliance, while the underside and the delicate band are made of gold.
