Giuseppe Girometti (1780–1851) was a famous 19th-century Italian sculptor, medalist, and engraver on precious stones. Born in Rome, he is best known for his neoclassical cameos carved from precious stones such as sard-onyx and onyx.
Niccolò Cerbara (1796–1869): A highly renowned medalist. Notably, he designed the coins for the Second Roman Republic in 1849.
