An elegant 18th-century oval copper tobacco box with a hinged lid. Both sides are finely engraved with religious and allegorical scenes. The lid depicts a winged figure holding a banner bearing the inscription “INRI,” accompanied by a partially legible engraved inscription: Jacques Hera? Probably the owner’s name.
