This corozo snuffbox is a 19th century work, made either by convicts or sailors to pass the time or make a little nest egg to improve daily life.
This one is a technical feat, indeed, the carving is particularly detailed. It depicts gardener's attributes with a fruit basket, a filled basket, a wheelbarrow, a shovel and on the other side we find a lamb.
