An imposing Chinese porcelain vase with underglaze blue decoration depicting flowering plum blossoms on a deep blue background. The rich ornamentation, covering the entire body of the vase, depicts one of the most iconic motifs in Chinese porcelain, symbolizing renewal, perseverance, and prosperity.

The vase features an elegant baluster shape with generous shoulders and a slightly flared neck. The painting, executed with great finesse, alternates between blooming flowers, buds, and sinuous branches in a perfectly balanced composition.

Beneath the base is a Chinese mark painted in underglaze blue—an honorary mark—in the tradition of the great imperial manufactories.
