She was a student of Ange Tissier, Florent Willems, and Léon Bonnat. She exhibited for the first time at the Salon in 1876 with a painting titled *The Bride’s Invocation*. She was a member of the Salon des Artistes Français in 1885 and received an honorable mention there in 1887.
Her genre scenes were highly praised by critics, and several of her paintings were noted.
