Elegant circular candy dish in white porcelain, resting on a rich, finely chiseled and gilded bronze base.
The lid is adorned with a delicate, hand-painted romantic scene inspired by the 18th century, framed by a design accented with gilding. The gilt bronze mount, of remarkable quality in both its engraving and finish, elegantly highlights the lines of this refined piece.
The reverse side of the lid bears an apocryphal mark of the Sèvres manufactory, characteristic of certain decorative pieces from the late 19th century.
