This statuette appears to be quite old; unfortunately, I have not been able to identify the style or culture to which it belongs.
A statuette of feminine appearance with an elaborate headdress and numerous scarifications above the chest.
Short, arched legs. A round, prominent belly—perhaps a depiction of a pregnant woman.
The forearms have not been carved.
Two cowrie shells serve as the eyes.
A slit in the wood.
