Wide view of Lake Garda in the moonlight, 19th-century oil on canvas, attributed to George Hering. Excellent quality and condition. Panoramic view of the waters of Lake Garda with figures on the shore. An almost identical panorama by Hering is held in the Royal Trust collection. Framed and titled on the reverse. This work was likely created during Hering’s Grand Tour of Italy and Greece. Unsigned.
