A rare 18th-century woodworking tool, this concave molding plane is carved in a distinctly Nordic style and decorated with engraved motifs and star-shaped punchwork.
On front, a spectacular figurehead , where utility meets ornamentation.
Its deep patina, the two carved hearts, signs of use, and old wormholes all contribute to its authenticity and charm.
