Dial signed Choiselat-Gallien (1784–1853), Maker of bronzes for His Royal Highness, in Paris.
As indicated on many clock dials, Choiselat-Gallien produced bronze pieces for His Royal Highness the Count d’Artois, brother of Louis XVI and the future Charles X, who was crowned in Reims.
Choiselat-Gallien was a prominent Parisian bronze artist and manufacturer for the Garde Meuble.
