A ritual object evoking the theme of fertility,
depicting a female or male figure and a child.
In good overall condition.
Some signs of (ritual) use,
and some traces of ancient polychromy on the side.

A few small impact marks.

Collected in the 1950s in the region of southern Mali, eastern Guinea, and northern Ivory Coast.
