Large portrait of a lady holding a rosary, dating from approximately the 17th century. Oil on canvas. Excellent quality and condition. A bust portrait of early Flemish origin, depicting a lady dressed in a green gown, a fur stole, and a white headdress, holding a rosary. This work is a similar version of the Van Cleve portrait housed at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Presented in a gilded frame. On the reverse, an old Christie’s stencil mark.
