Small vintage travel writing set, restored, consisting of a black embossed leather case with a pomponne mount and a bubble-patterned blown glass bottle.
Period: Early 19th century, circa 1820.
Condition: As found, with original patina; the leather shows signs of use; slight oxidation on the metal; the bottle is blackened by ink; part of the interior cardboard lining is missing (see photos).
