Rare cup or small hammam bowl... made of copper and gilt brass, known as tombak, it features gadrooned relief decoration and silver inlaid medallions, decorated with intaglio motifs, and a smooth interior.
Period: 18th or 19th century.
Condition: Sold as found, uncleaned, it is in good condition with slight wear consistent with age and use.
It is relatively dense for its size with a lovely antique patina.
