This pocket knife dates from the 18th century and depicts Saint Apollonia of Alexandria. Its colors are still vivid.

Apolline of Alexandria, or Apollonia of Alexandria, who died in 249 in Alexandria (Egypt), was a Christian martyr. A Catholic saint, she is commemorated on February 9 according to the Roman Martyrology and is also considered the patron saint of dentists.
