Baccarat Chauny Model, Cut And Engraved Crystal, Six Water Or Orangeade Goblets, Signed

A beautiful set of six goblet-shaped cut crystal glasses, the ‘Chauny’ model by Baccarat, early 20th century; slightly truncated conical in shape, the lower section is adorned with five characteristic rows of facets arranged in a staggered pattern resembling scales, forming a wide band of facets cut into the thickness of the crystal; the two rows at the opposite ends are cut with rounded edges, which further enhances the beauty of these glasses; the upper section near the rim is embellished with four engraved fillets.
Very fine quality of luminous crystal with a beautiful resonant tone, accompanied by lovely reflections caused by the refraction of light on the cut facets.
A simple yet very “classy” or “chic” design.
