Bear And Wild Boar Charm Bracelet - Made In France, Circa 1950
This is a bracelet made of 800-th silver featuring a chain with large links, adorned with five charms depicting, in alternating order, bears and wild boars partially vermeil-plated silver.
The animals are finely chased, with great attention to detail and movement, giving the piece a striking presence and plenty of character. Their imagery naturally evokes the world of hunting.
The bracelet features an ingenious hook clasp that fits into a link, making it particularly secure and perfectly integrated into the chain’s design.
French craftsmanship, circa 1950.
The bracelet bears the master’s hallmark of the Noël workshop, while the charms are the work of Robert Davière.
