Louis XVI-style Mahogany Chiffonnière, Early 19th Century Description
Elegant Louis XVI-style chiffonnière, dating from the early 19th century, made of mahogany and mahogany veneer.
The piece features a tall, slender silhouette, with a front marked by five upper drawers and a large lower drawer that visually resembles two drawers. The side panels are decorated with vertical fluting, in the neoclassical style, and extend down to small, tapered, fluted legs.
The top is made of white marble, simple and elegant, in harmony with the mahogany structure and the piece’s clean lines.
A striking piece of furniture, ideal for a bedroom, a study, or a classic setting. It shows signs of restoration and has cracked side panels, consistent with its age and use.
