An exceptional carved walnut mantelpiece, with gilding and polychrome decoration, largely original. It features motifs of flowers, foliage, ovals, and denticles, reflecting all the stylistic elements of the Renaissance. Likely made in Catalonia or southern France. Dated to the late 17th or early 18th century. Standard restorations.
