A very beautiful cup and saucer made of intricately crafted porcelain, richly gilded with gold.
Manufactured in Tiefenfurt, Silesia.
* 19th century, dated 1866. *
The rim of the saucer and the rim of the cup feature undulating edges; the cup rests on a small foot, the flared base of the body is adorned with panels decorated with foliage scrolls, arabesques, and beaded lines, as is the upper portion, which flares widely toward the rim.
The piece bears the TPM manufacturer’s mark surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings.
