A charming pair of polychrome porcelain statuettes depicting two soldiers from the Napoleonic era. 

One depicts Napoleon I in the uniform of a colonel of the Chasseurs de la Garde, recognizable by his famous bicorne hat, while the other depicts an officer or grenadier of the Imperial Guard in his parade uniform.

The figures are depicted standing in an elegant pose and rest on bases adorned with the imperial monogram “N” surrounded by a laurel wreath. 

The polychrome finish is enhanced by gold trim and details that highlight the uniforms and military insignia.

These decorative statuettes reflect the enduring fascination with the Napoleonic era and make a beautiful display set for a showcase or cabinet of curiosities.
