First Empire Solid Silver Grenade.
Very rare First Empire cartridge grenade in solid silver weighing 140 grams. Dimensions 11 cm by 8 cm. Three fixing lugs at the back. On the face engraved with the N of Napoleon surrounded by a laurel and oak crown with guarantee hallmarks (old man and rooster) Only three of these grenades are known, including one in the USA. Very beautiful piece full of history.
