Created by sculptor Édouard Drouot (1859–1945) in the workshops of the Sèvres porcelain manufactory (the mark is on the base); this charming biscuit porcelain statuette represents an allegory of nature (or spring).
Her attributes include an overturned amphora from which water flows, symbolizing the source of life, and flowers symbolizing the birth of nature. The woman herself represents the beauty of nature and is the mother of nature.
