Paul Mccobb Coffee Table, With Silver-plated Bronze Base And Calacatta Carrara Marble Top
An elegant coffee table designed by the renowned American designer Paul McCobb, an iconic figure of Mid-Century Modern design.
This piece immediately captivates with the purity of its lines and the geometric precision of its architecture. The base, crafted from silver-plated bronze, features an airy structure composed of slender rectangular sections connected by an elegant interplay of diagonals, creating a perfectly balanced composition.
The piece is crowned by a superb top in white Calacatta marble, whose delicately nuanced gray veins enliven the surface with refinement. The contrast between the marble’s noble, mineral quality and the metal’s delicacy gives this creation a presence that is as discreet as it is prestigious.
This table perfectly embodies Paul McCobb’s philosophy: to create furniture of great formal sophistication while maintaining a sense of lightness and functionality. Its timeless design allows it to blend seamlessly into both contemporary interiors and more classic settings.
Both a functional sculpture and a collector’s piece, this coffee table stands as a remarkable testament to American design from the second half of the 20th century.
