Child Playing With A Cat, Oil On Panel By Charles Perron
Oil on wood depicting a child playing with a cat by Charles Perron, a painter from Nantes (1893–1958). He is known for his house facades, bouquets of flowers, and a few nudes. I have not found any paintings featuring children or animals. The panel is signed in the lower left corner (barely visible), and his name is written on the back. The style of the house and the flowers is typical of Perron’s work.
