Antique Piqué Tortoiseshell Gold Earrings
Piquè is the old ( and lost ! ) art of inlay small gold points in the
tortoiseshell. This art started in Naples in the 18th century.We are now
presenting a very nice antique pair of tortoiseshell piquè gold
earrings with a ball on the Top and Down an element like an arrow. Both
full of gold points also in two color gold. All inlaid in the
tortoiseshell. It is a gorgeous pair of earrings very elegant and light
to wear. 14K Gold (touchstone tested). End of the 19th century. From
Naples. They are in perfect condition.
