Antique Gold Verge Fusee Pocket Watch
A very rare old verge fusee pocket watch in 22K gold. The outer case is repoussé and engraved and is a little used bearing the signs of time. The inner case contains the watch and is marked with 5 different hallmarks. The watch with the fusee, the chain and all the mechanism is in perfect condition and is all engraved. It is marked: 2033 Markham LONDON.

Note: Markham was an important and famous watch manufacturer from the late 17th / early 18th century. After he associated with Markwich (another major manufacturer of London watches).
