Late 18th Century Directory Style Coffee Table With Inlays
Refined and unique coffee table, crafted from solidwalnut, finely carved with exquisite fruitwood inlays. The table featureselegant saber legs, typical of the period, and a front drawer that opens with aknob, offering various compartments for storing small items. This piece is alsoideal as a centerpiece, thanks to its floral garland inlays on all sides. Thetop features geometric inlays, with a central lunette depicting a shepherd on ahill, flanked by a basket, further enhancing the refinement. This is a tastefuland elegant coffee table, capable of adding a touch of class and antiquity toany space. Made in Piacenza (Lombardy, northern Italy), from the Directoireperiod, around the end of the 18th century.
