Mid 19th Century Pair Of Candelabra With Vestals
Splendid pair of single-light candelabra, with base in green Alpine marble and gilded bronze figures depicting vestals, which support the lights with elegance. The sculptures, with their wavy peplums and rich hair, recall classical art and ancient culture. The bases, embellished with gilded bronze friezes with plant motifs, add further elegance to the candelabra, also acting as curled feet. Made in Piedmont in the mid-19th century, they are objects of great class and refinement, capable of enriching any environment with their sophisticated style.
