Italian Art Deco-style Nightstands, Dating From Around 1935
A pair of Italian Art Deco-style nightstands, dating from around 1935, made in Amalfi. The pieces feature a refined walnut burl front, embellished with a characteristic semi-cylindrical projection veneered in light walnut, a distinctive element of the Art Deco style.
The top is made of elegant black glass, in perfect harmony with the soft, rounded lines of the structure. The original brass and clear Lucite handles are still in place; they show slight signs of wear and have been deliberately left unchanged to preserve the furniture’s authenticity and historical value.
The interiors are crafted from oak, a testament to the quality of the construction. The pair stands out for its formal balance, fine materials, and excellent overall condition.
Ideal for refined settings, whether classic or eclectic.
