18th-century Regency Armchair Made Of Beech Wood
An elegant Regency-era wicker armchair made of beech. It rests on a curved base decorated with acanthus leaves at the bottom and floral scrolls at the top. The legs are connected at the base by an X-shaped crossbar and by curved, scalloped crossbars, molded and carved on the front with a floral design. The armrests are curved like a whip, molded, and finished with a scroll. The backrest is scalloped and molded all around, decorated at the top with a floral scroll. High-quality craftsmanship in very good condition; the rear seat slats and caning have been replaced. A comfortable and sturdy armchair in good condition.
