A pair of carved wooden candle-holding angels, polychromed and partially gilded. Each of the two winged figures holds a candlestick ending in a candle holder designed to hold a candle. The garments are polychromed in shades of red and green and accented with gilding.
Probably made around 1900,within the context of religious art from southern Germany and Tyrol. The original polychromy is largely preserved. The polychromy and gilding show signs of wear, scuffing, and small losses due to age.
