Frank Gehry (1929–2025) is an American-Canadian architect associated with the deconstructivist and post-structuralist movements. Trained at the University of Southern California and Harvard, he worked for several firms before founding his own practice in Los Angeles in 1962. His style is characterized by organic, fluid, and dynamic forms. In addition to his personal residence in Santa Monica, which launched his career, he designed many buildings that are now world-renowned, such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Dancing House in Prague, the Cinémathèque Française, and the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris,... He was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 1989.
