This unframed canvas depicts a man wearing a corporate uniform (?) that I have been unable to identify. The medal he is wearing could be that of the Order of Saint Hubert of Lorraine, with the rank of bar (knight/commander). Although in poor condition, our painting remains a historical document. Highly decorative, one will also note the quality of the subject, the detail, and the composition, all of which are very well executed.
