Temples In The Jungle - Indochinese Lacquer, 1950s–60s - Hanoi School
Large lacquer panel, Vietnamese work from the 1950s–60s. Figures rendered in bold lines move through a jungle from which temples emerge. The architectural elements are rendered in an eggshell finish. The signature is in Western style.
These various elements are reminiscent of Hoang Ngoc's circle.
Please note: the corners are chipped and worn—the edges are flaked—there is a visible chip in the lower center —signs of handling.
Shipping: note that the format is rejected by the Post Office—a carrier is required!!!!!
