A refined and elegant table sauce boat with a matching saucer, crafted from Murano art glass, belonging to the famous "Rugiadoso" series designed by Ercole Barovier for the Barovier & Toso glassworks around 1935–1940.
The set is made of mouth-blown glass and hand-crafted. The body of the sauce boat and the saucer feature a dense and elegant internal hot-blended inclusion of minute fragments of gold leaf.
The glass is intact; there are no chips, cracks, or restorations, particularly at the delicate joints where the handle was fused on.
