Object description :

"Three-strand Sciacca Coral Necklace, Dating Back To The Late 19th Century."
The three strands are harmoniously and progressively arranged, with increasing lengths to create an elegant cascade effect across the décolleté.The coral beads are spherical and carefully crafted, arranged in decreasing order from the center outward. The coral color is a warm orange, typical of Sciacca fossil coral, with slight tonal variations that testify to the authenticity and natural origin of the material. The silver clasp with a central coral, made later than the necklace's period, is made.Sciacca coral, discovered in the second half of the 19th century during underwater eruptions, is now considered rare and highly collectible.
The longest strand measures 52 cm, the shortest 44 cm.
