Empire Empire Period

First Empire period liqueur cellar in gilt bronze and cut crystal

Elegant and refined, this superb liqueur cellar from the Premier Empire period immediately seduces with its pure lines and the quality of its workmanship. A testament to the imperial taste for decor inspired by Antiquity, it is today a decorative piece of great charm, as much at home on an Empire pedestal table as on a coffee table or reception console.

It rests on a pedestal table, which is a perfect complement to any table.

It rests on a remarkable circular top with a mirrored base, underlined by a frieze decorated with finely chased palmettes. The whole is supported by three feet adorned with stylized Bacchus heads, providing a particularly elegant sculptural presence.

In the center rises a handsome gilded bronze mount with original mercury, richly decorated with palmettes and neoclassical motifs. This structure houses three cut crystal decanters with sparkling facets, whose quality of cut offers magnificent plays of light. The three crystal stoppers, also present, can be deposited in the recesses provided when the decanters are uncorked, a detail as practical as it is elegant.

.

This liqueur cellar presents a beautiful authenticity and retains all of its elements. The only thing to note is some old wear on the decanter necks, discreet once in place, which explains the particularly attractive price for a piece of this quality and period.

This liqueur cellar has a beautiful authenticity and retains all its elements.

With its timeless elegance, its emblematic First Empire decor and the nobility of its materials, this liqueur cellar is as much a collector's item as a first-rate decorative element.
